I need to send a parcel to portugal , its the stock from my clay buster , so reasonable value but not big/heavy , any good advice on trusted parcel companys ? cheers
where do I find limits for that?Oh, and if it will fit within the limits of royal mails tracked and signed for, use that.
where do I find limits for that?
All part of taking back control isn't it.but it seems shipping something abroad is now difficult
Ahh the joys of Brexit - it just keeps on giving!going through parcel force , but need to find recievers eori no, vat no and hs tarrif code ..
its only small 3,5kg.Ahh the joys of Brexit - it just keeps on giving!
We ship Worldwide remember and are also customs agents. And ask @Nomad the joys of getting parcels in Portugal.
thanks for the reply , pm sentHow big, how heavy, how quick do you need it moved, where from / where to ?
From my last chat with Portugese customs I suspect they flag anything over 100kg for their "special" attention ££££.
A serious suggestion would be to look at booking a £20 flight with Ryaniar or Easyjet and take it out as handluggage, have a couple of cheap days in the sun while you're there Or ask from the forum is having a trip out there soon?
Before br@xit @fizzy sent a few pallets to Portugal for me no problems (often a 5 day delivery), since then 1 took 3 months (5 days to Lisbon then 2.5 months stuck in customs), another (sentimental personal goods with nil commercial value) got a £300 customs charge applied
Happy to chap on PM if you have questions, some of my answers and opinions are not suitable for a family friendly forum.
Edit: just out of curiosity what is clay buster stock? Google say it can be organic fertilizer, 12 bore ammo, and other stuff
pm sent.Is it hand luggable? And where in Portugal is it going? I'm going to Lisboa on Saturday, but hand luggage only....
