Howdo all.
Ironically, considering how I make my living, I haven't a clue about this one
, so I thought I'd ask your good selves.
Last week, to my eternal shame, I left one of my outrigger spreader pads at a delivery point
. It's a 'kin big house near Bristol Zoo (in fact, I had to back into one of their car parks to offload) and the pad is still there, safe and sound. It's 500 x 500 x 60, made of heavy duty plastic, and weighs about 10-ish kg's. ( the pad that is, not the house
). In an ideal world, I'd drop off the M5 at Avonmouth and collect it myself, (any excuse to see the Clifton Bridge/SS Great Britain) but life being what it is, I'm any where BUT Bristol this week.
Given that new pads are about £40-£50 a throw, does anyone know what it might cost to have it "parcelled" to our yard near Thirsk, North Yorkshire, or even to my home in East Yorks?
I am, as always, indebted to you chaps.
