Hi
I am making ornamental steelwork, just a retirement hobby from my garage.
Brush painint a gate is tiresome and not really the finish I want, I have an Aldi comp and a gravity gun, have tried water based black exterior and it sprays ok without thinning but today the garage is 8 degrees so drying is forever and if I try cellulose I have had some blooming due to the Cumbrian weather doing it's usual this week.
Is there a primer and black satin or gloss I am unaware of that is the norm to use.
Finally...A heater, suspect I am going to have to get something so advice welcome again, 22 foot x 14 foot garage, block walls, insulated roof and door so the heat would stay in for a while once there I think..suspect a hot air blower type, electric?
Thanks if you take the time to answer...it's appreciated...going to poke my finger on a gate and see if it's still wet
