painting a deck..what brush /pad on a pole ?

need to paint a wooden decking , my back is a bit old for a regular brush , has anyone tried the foam pads on a pole jobbies

any suggestions what works well?

i use ronseal decking oil, good stuff , various colours.

Painted decking looks great for a while but I wouldn't do it again, once it starts to crack/peel it's a bugger to re coat/deal with,.....funny enough, I'm trying to remove/strip mine of it all, I've used wire brush/angle grinder attachments, pressure washer, it's hard going, trying to get in all the grooves etc.

I shall be using decking oil when it's finally done.

i dont doubt oil is the best bet ...this one is on its last few years , ive just patched in a few new boards on the cheap and a coat of paint will make it all match until its ripped out and replaced with something nicer
