yeah its ideal for a quick tidy up outside or in a barn ..looks reasonble if youre good at using it...the problems come if you decide its not good or wish to redo it
PU thinners is what is needed on Landy type synthetic paint. Old Landy's had a baked/stoved type process with synthetic type of paint. It is very stable on the ali which was prepped aircraft style.
I've not used the brand of synthetic you're using before, however I've sprayed quite a bit of Dacrylate V&M Enamel. Now I'm certainly no expert as most of the stuff I'm spraying is light agricultural stuff and the odd truck, but I have to agree with Langy, I painted my old horsebox with it and while it looks perfectly acceptable, I kind of regret it. You will never get the kind of high gloss finish with these products as you do with car paint. I have never heated it as norsa suggests, sounds an interesting idea though! I find I have to use more pressure at the gun as it is quite gloopy compared to thinned basecoat, though you've hit the nail on the head, it's durable as hell.
