I'm working on the interior of my beetle, so far I've sprayed one coat of epoxy(should really have done 2 but compressor played up).I've filled repairs and shaped with 80 grit, now I know I should go finer but could I now skim the repairs with dolphin glaze and then sand with 180/240, then epoxy and primer or should I really go finer first, then prime, then glaze.
I've got some lechler green on the way as I read it was good in other posts.

Sand the filler & epoxy with 180-240 and then apply a couple of coats of epoxy then wait 1 hour and go straight on with the green ti, that will be fine & dandy, then flat green ti with 600 if straight paint or 800 if COB

Thanks for the quick reply,what you say has confirmed what I thought.I've got a few marks/pinholes in the filler can I use glaze over the filler or do I need to use filler.I'm using easy sand at the moment but have got some fantastic coming with the primer.

Easy sand to be honest mate i wouldn't of used it as it sinks like mad and pinholes badly but as you are stuck with it now i would dolphin glaze over the top then flat out with 240 then epoxy and then wet on wet with the green ti as said earlier.
Dolphin glaze is a type of stopper so can be used over primer also, personally i prefer Top Stop gold or Plastic Padding stopper

Have to say, i would skim with stopper, bang back with 80, epoxy high build and guide. Knock back with 400, re high build and guide. 6-800 wet.

Cheers for the replies, just the advice I needed.
I'm only doing the inside at the moment so not really a problem with the easy sand(its what they use at work but their a bit old school and everything has to be cheap not good).The fantastic arrived today so thats going on the outside and the easy sand is going in the bin.
