Paint delivery with loose tins, all over the deck :(

I once picked up some uv curing clear varnish from a customer to return to base. Already shrinkwrapped onto a europallet, so forklifted straight into the back of my Vauxhall Carlton.

200 litres when i set off from Rufforth.
Zero litres when I arrived in Huyton, l'pool.
Every single bucket was split! They'd been put on a 4" deep cardboard "sump", which had eventually overflowed.
Driving back home to leeds, i could see the line of varnish for about 60 miles along the m62.

Work paid for the interior valeting.

Aha, no I have left it to dry up a bit. I will scrape it off when it's firmed up a bit.
The idea of jetwashing it into the river is unthinkable, the Harbourmaster would literrally have my effing pants down, massive fines etc, and probably the locals would come out with pitchforks, there is a swan's nest and a coot's nest, both with 10 yds of the boat..
Fair enough it's almost like a nature reserve, and I'm on warning of instant death if I bring the .177 on deck again
