Purple Heart? My dad worked in a woodyard (late in life) and I remember him saying that there was a wood that was really poisonous.
Purple Heart?
A blackthorn thorn I got in the back of my hand, I went hospital and they had a dig around and could find anything.
Four months later it popped out while I was drying my handsView attachment 240310

Nothing untoward, she turned up to a works do while we were playing cricket of all things and she had loads of those little round plasters all up her legs as she had dropped a big glass bottle of pop that exploded and embedded glass shrapnel in her legs. A few months later a lump came to the surface but I could not get it out and the wound looked just like that in the photo, the Doctor gave her some stuff to dress it with that drew it out and it was quite a size.Reminds me when I had a shard of glass in my foot
Several months later I managed to remove it

Laburnum?
Reminds me of my ex, we'd been in the pub all day and evening, the lads relieved themselves in a bramble patch and she thought she'd do the same... 3 months with the tweezers!
