One of my GT550's has no main stand so changing a wheel/tyre is a pain in the a*se 
Had need of one of thes for a long time now but looking round couldn't see one I thought would fit tidy so I made this:

so at the mo it's a 6 foot piece of 1-1/2" pipe just shoved on the end, the proper item will be the same size tube as the stand is made of (1-1/4") but with a threaded collar to match the already welded on spigot prolly about 4 foot in length to make it real easy to lift.
painted it in red lead instead 
One of my future "projects". But I'm more leaning to lifting the bike up at the frame. Despite having an Abba stand for my bike.
