I bought one after a few years of using drill driven ones, what a difference can't believe I didn't get one sooner.

Has been worth every penny.

Bought mine for mixing lime mortar. I reckon the lime will have reverted to limestone by the time I get around to it! Only used it once for mixing some regular 4:1 mortar.

I welded a deep 10mm socket to a broken SSD drill bit, so I now have a quick release mechanism for the paddle.
Now I can slip the drill off and leave the paddle sitting in the bucket and I can be sure it won’t tip over.

I use it more for mixing than drilling.

I just use a stirrer and a decent slow speed drill.

This is what happens when you try to mix really stiff concrete with a core drill.



And this is what happens when I wear one out and not just destroy it.





I know it's not worth it, but if you have the tools you have to use them.
