Packing a small lathe for shipping

I personally picked a a small lathe the other day for a customer to ship out. Bloke he bought it from couldn't palletise it and not far away.
I am a firm believer that 95% of problems are down to packing.
I was lucky I could scrounge an empty crate.View attachment 171800

Nicely packed there Mr Fizzy, I can never find stuffing when I need it. Normally resort to using the horsists old feed/bedding bags.

Dont worry about it Mr Cosic you are not the only hop scotch champion , my lads get in plenty of gardens and I can assure you there are far worse.
