hello all, my first post so go easy on me
im considering buying a new mig welder, i only have single phase available so im limited in a way.
ive looked at a few machines on the tinternet and to get me above the 300amp range there only seems to be a few doing machines in this category.
my first choice would be a oxford s-mig, the 401 one, my question is, would it be a good unit?
is it power hungry?
most of my work is agri repairs, digger buckets and shed fabrication.
i currently have a 250 mig but would like to go bigger.
anyone using the oxford one mentioned here, and if so any opinions on them?.
the other welder i looked at was a INE, but i havnt heard anything inspiring so im not sure about them, they are dearer than the oxford anyway.
any help would be much appreciated.
many thanks in advance.
