Hi, just a quick how much question, bloke I bought my surface grinder from has an Oxford RT110 oil cooled arc welder, is it worth anything?
for £50 squids buy it and put it under the bench.....if u ever use it great bit it will double in value in a few years....... brilliant machine...wouyld never be without mine......
Yep, I could but you all probably know the saying that your possessions expand to the available space? Well mine have seriously overflowed the available space. Before I built my garage I'm pretty sure I was getting more done, now I spend too much time working out how to work around all the stuff I've accumulated
My RT110 is hiding behind a MIG and a TIG, but still comes out now n then - excellent little thing, can run all day no trouble. Won't be getting rid... Dave H. (the other one)
If you're stick welding there's nothing to beat an oil cooled, it'll never miss a beat and weld all day. Although I've been retired some years now, it'll be the kids who'll be tasked with getting shot of mine.
I left mine plugged in for a month . it was fairly warm but ok I just started welding up a twin axle trailer I was making wasn't much warmer after 3 hours of welding
