Oxford Mig Maker 330-1

Hi All
I am looking at changing my mig to a bigger 1 but it needs to be single phase! I have seen an oxford mig maker 330-1 for £815 +vat dose anyone know what they are like and are they any good or do you know of anything better for resonable money?

Have a little search for "portamig" theres a whole section about them on here. The Oxford is made by the same company, it`s there new range. A pm to "weldequip" might get you a better price on it too.

Hi, the Oxford migmaker 330-1 has been offered to me at £895 including vat. Also the Oxford Migmaker 170-1 at £526 including Vat and delivery. Both these prices sound good.
Can anyone point me in the direction of any other models, or comment on the above prices and quality of the above.

That's a fair old difference in amperage range there...170 & 330 Amps...what type of work do you want the set for?

I'd forget the 170 then for gates & railings type work...something in the middle should be fine
