I use brush painted black Jotamastic 80 on the underside of my MGB.
As people will know this will develop a chalky finish over time if not overcoated. Normally, I have overcoated it with underseal and more recently with Upol Raptor but on the fuel tank I over coated it with stone chip, black base coat then 2K clear. That seems to clean off well.
Currently, I am repainting the front suspension and cross member. 2 coats of Jotamastic have gone on and I had planned to put Raptor on next but I am now wondering about 2K clear instead. Would 2K clear prevent the chalkiness from developing?
