Hello all,it's coming on for that time of year again when things get very cold and i've decided to try and get myself "ahead of the game" so to speak. Im on the hunt for a pair of quilted flame retardent overalls with the all important rod/rule pocket(colours not too important as can always use hivis vest). My question's are where does anybody get theirs? what sort of quality are they and how much are you boys paying?

I use Dickies Overalls, they are pretty decent flame proof, In the winter i buy one size bigger and wear a fleece underneath. Cheaper than Buying Padded.
My overalls only last me a month at most so this is the best option, I get mine for £35 + vat

I think mine are a large, I am 5ft8 and they fit fine. Zip all the way up the front, luckily they have two legs and a free shoulder holster in case you need to pack a rod at work.

They sound great, most of the local stuff has polyester, a no no for sparks. The included holster is not needed any more, thank 'him up there'. Having spent a few months packing.

Don't be misled by the large size. I had some delivered today, and I would say that their 'large' is a medium at most.
Great value, and excellent quality though, so really well worth the £24 or whatever they were. Shame they didn't fit

thats a shame I really need an xl or xxl to be comfortable in overall. especially coming up to xmas

I don't think they allow XXL in tank crews, there's not much room in there

They don't have a problem any more they only make the hatches in Medium

So no large people in tanks or submarines then, unless they are prepared to ride on the outside.
