shouldn't be welding in the shower, specially if its an acrylic tray.dont forget you've only got a max of 100a supply to your house.
oven + hob + shower + welder + one light bulb is gonna blow your main fuse.

that's not the case you haven't allowed for diversity. its nowhere near 100 amp there not allways pulling full load at any one point a cooker can run on a 32 amp supply fed of a 6.0mm cable and can run up to 15 kw allowing for diversity . a 10 kw shower has to be run off a 10mm cable and a 42 amp mcb as the load is constantdont forget you've only got a max of 100a supply to your house.

nearly riteDiversity is what you are wanting
diversity is what you calculate when designing your circuitsnearly ritediversity is what you calculate when designing your circuits
yep a few people have commented on doing one linersi think we both mean the same thing, just you were polite enough to expand.
I just normally say sufficient to explain and not do an essay
i suppose really i should have expanded it as i will admit just typing "diversity" doesnt explain much i just assume people know what i knowyep a few people have commented on doing one linersI just normally say sufficient to explain and not do an essay

ovens and hobs or any other appliance that do not run constantly use diversity. a shower has no diversity as it runs at a constant load just the same as a tumble drier . here is an example saves me explainingthe on site guide cuts through most of the stuff that isn't needed and worth buying . this guy says it in layman's language and worth looking at his posts
