Opinions on advert please

At the end of the day its £12, and there is no way I imagined that they would send four for that price.

I am going to return it and complain about the misleading advert, more for wasting peoples time really. I dare say the seller will not want to refund and pay for the return postage, so will write it off.

Downside is because of my loathing to throw anything away, its something else to clutter up my life.

go on ebay submit a not as described and ask to return it should be at there cost if not phone ebay (ive done this before and say im not paying to return an item i did not order they refunded and said just get rid of item

They only lock if you push them over the perimeter boundary at the supermarket (buried trigger wire), not a problem if you carry them over it - according to Google

If i got sent a single unit, i would be seeking a refund.

Common reasons for removal,
Buyers don't message the seller to attempt to resolve the problem before leaving feedback.
Buyers leave negative without/before returning the item (properly via an eBay case)
Buyers mention something personal or derogatory in the feedback.
Buyers have unrealistic expectations, ie a genuine diamond ring for £9.99.
Reasons outside the sellers control like slow delivery (rather than dispatch)

Plus sellers now get something like 1 "free" removal per 500 sales each year.

In your case, I'd word feedback carefully as (as far as ebay are concerned) any drop down selection boxes over-ride the title of the item anyway so if you say you were "expecting 4 and received only 1" the seller can just claim you actually recived the quantity shown to you during checkout.
I suppose that makes sense as if you were selling gloves but only had 2 sizes you might put Size 9 & 11 in the title and the buyer would choose one size..

I'd agree with you but that's what ebay says and a seller can easily use that to get the feedback removed.

Sellers can also get positive feedback removed, especially if the comments don't match the rating so leave it carefully

Not sure if many sellers read there own positive feedback but then I don't think many buyers read sellers feedback either!

You might find the option to leave a 'product reviews on the feedback form. That's harder for the seller to remove although they can just end that listing and put the same again into a new one..

There's lots in the bus station here that have gone past the strip then started rolling again, just take two and have some spare wheels.
