Ok good stuff go with your confidence then and at least you'll know it from the start. Make sure the warranty is good--min three years. Let us know how you get on with the set maybe post a review.Thank you. Im looking at pricing at pricimg an ewm picotig 200 tomorrow, which is a plant id use regularly at my full time job
You know they sell tig sets on here ,a few people have recommended the parweld 202 i think its called. Wouldn't buy jasic cos theyve been in trouble for slave labour on a few occasions so that's me out.The ewm would be my first choice as it what i use for site work at work but i feel it might be just out of my price bracket. The weco has a 3 year warranty. I was just wondering if anybody knew about them
Do you have any reliable sources/links for that? You know they sell tig sets on here ,a few people have recommended the parweld 202 i think its called. Wouldn't buy jasic cos theyve been in trouble for slave labour on a few occasions so that's me out.

Im not in from the uk,as most members here seem to be, and the weldequip store on top of the pageYou know they sell tig sets on here ,a few people have recommended the parweld 202 i think its called. Wouldn't buy jasic cos theyve been in trouble for slave labour on a few occasions so that's me out.
yeah ok slave labour was a little inaccurate . Researched the company last year and that popped up and some of the sympathisers were beaten ,went missing ,suspicion of being killed. Not in any way good .If you google it you will find it was not slave labour but they were guilty of paying low wages, enforcing overtime and not allowing the workers to form a union. Not a good record but not exactly slave labour.

The problem with Weco is presence. There isn’t much of it about and there for knowledge and spares may be more difficult to come by compared to more established brands. Would you be purchasing from a local supplier or via on line tick boxes? If I was looking for a machine in this price bracket I’d be buying it from a supplier who would look after it for spares and service requirements as and when needed.[/QUOT0E]
I ended up purchasing the weco today, it was a local welding supply store
