Evening all am hoping someone could give me some advice on opening up an end of a piece of pipe to a larger diameter.
I have 1.5" OD cds that I want to join up to 1.75" OD cds and am unsure of the correct way of going about it.
It needs to be "cone like" so I was thinking of heating the 1.5" part and pressing it over a tapered former to stretch it out to the required diameter.
Is this the correct way or can anyone give me some guidance ?
It is for an exhaust manifold where it changes in diameter as it picks up more cylinders.
Cheers Chris.
