It’s not bad, need to match the white now though as it’s not original, the vin numbers make it Montana silver originally. But I’ll keep it white for ease of tarting up. And it’s been named ‘snowdrop’ by my daughter lol.
It’s really comfy and in great musty conditionMore importantly it has the mandatory diarrhea brown velour upholstery.
With it it's a Classic.
Without it it's just another old car.
Been saved many times by a dremmel with cutting disc!Removing the starter motor turned out to be a 2 hour battle, angled ratchet only way, tried underneath with shed loads of extensions. Far too tight.
Had to make a small extension, having a mill is such a treat to knock up cleanly, a grinder would’ve done fine too but….
Two hands full body weight inch at a time.
Managed to get the bottom bolt out enough to squeeze dremmel in and cut off the head. Voila!
Got home to find new alternator wrong one doh! Hopefully I can make a good one from the two. Original is one wire telltale whilst replacement had 3 pin plug.
