It’s not I’m afraid lol. Not my manta exclusive.
I’ve been at sywell most of the day setting up with the crew.
Back in the morning to get cracking. Offload the manacles stand equipment then my bits for auto jumble (a friend is selling for me) then back to VBOA duties.

Not a massive update as have had dramas with flooded Worksop etc.
but so I don’t lose mojo, bought the oil covered headlights home.

Sadly one of the glass lense got smashed in the clear up , luckily have a spare.
New lamps ordered too. Another little job ticked off the list

Already have one above office, I’ve boarded this off and have stairs up to it aswell for parts and panels

Finally purchased the paint for the engine bay, so with any luck I’ll get some time to re prep, lay some epoxy primer and solid 2K the bat.

Also been looking into converting to auto having delved into bmw 8sp autos, could be a cheap ish way for decent box with endless power capability but awesome drives ability l. Will update soon

Not any really progress but….

In the yard when I’m now based are lots of motors sat around. There was a rough looking e46.
Took a few measurements and it looks like the rear axle setup is exact same track width….
So a little chat with the neighbour he asked his mate and it was sold to me for a couple of hundred quid.
I’ve broke the thing for the rear and made some monies too which is cool.

Will update once I have the axle laid under the shell to see what else needs to be done, I have a cunning plan with some elements of it.

Also landed form Poland, I nicely machined adapter plate for the 8sp auto I will be using. For the money it save a lot of time and error.

When you get a chance would you be able to post some dimension up eg width from hub to hub please and a picture of the mounting positions, Im looking for a similar type of thing for a project

Of course, think I have a good way to utilize some of the existing mountings too with a bit of chopping of the BMW arms.
