If the valve seats are ok that will weld no problem
When was that? I only go from 16 to 17 and back to 15 on the m60 of a morning
Seats are knacked on two cylinders and I quite literally can't machine anymore off that head. Managed to get a good one for nowtIf the valve seats are ok that will weld no problem
I was thinking warped as soon as I saw it havnt you noticed performance dropping off and bad lumpy running ?when I did the head gasket last time it really cooked the head and to be honest I think even after they took the head as far as they could skimming it might have still had the slightest warp still. Done well tho, 5 years of grief now
Been dropping off for a month or so but coupled itself with a dying turbo and pump timing shifting itself slightly causing a misfire so probs hadn't noticed it like I should've or passed it over as something elseI was thinking warped as soon as I saw it havnt you noticed performance dropping off and bad lumpy running ?
yep thats the old styleNo it was an elring composite h/g
Problem is the Heads usually crack by the exhaust ports and blow water into the exhaust manifold, VERY common on 300'sIf the valve seats are ok that will weld no problem
really? I've not seen a single one that's done that on a 300. Seen a lot of td5 with cracked head but not a 300Problem is the Heads usually crack by the exhaust ports and blow water into the exhaust manifold, VERY common on 300's
Split single engine.Im working on the theory that two Pistons in a shared cylinder is a viable concept![]()
