Online car taxing issues

Hi all,

Anyone else struggling with the .gov website today? I've tried 2 or 3 times today using the 16 digit number on the V11 and get various refusals including 'vehicle not recognised'.

Just me?

No not yet, I'll need to find the V5 first and that might not be that straightforward!

I had one with "tax stolen" and a crime reference number while I was waiting for the replacement to come through the post on one of my bikes in the 70's.

Mrs RWD managed to get it done now. Obviously they just don't like me!

My late uncle used to put the tax disc top centre of windscreen and apply salad cream so it was barely legible
