Thought I'd repair my Fakita one handed, 4" chainsaw. I killed the
non brushed motor a while back. Bought a new motor off Ebay or wherever. Note the brown paper KFC bag (I btw did not partake) used to protect the breakfast bar:
Straight out of the box the new motor end cap was loose. It's really coming to something when the parts you buy to fix crap are themselves crap! Tbf it looks the same as the original motor.
Wonder if there's a brushless equivalent I could get?
Anyway, the inside of the chainsaw is a bit dusty, gritty with what might be some organic matter, insect casings etc. I'll blast it out with brake/carb cleaner but what grease to re-pack it with, molybdenum for CV joints maybe? Got some blue sapphire etc:
