Not a particularly good vice but not a bad restoration.
What makes you say that?
Only watched the first minute or so, but instant mistake is forcing that leadscrew without shoving any lube on anything. Water, WD, oil, desel, kero, even water. Just anything to provide some slip between moving parts.
Been as well to use evo-stick or sellotape as to arc weld that mass of cold cast iron.

Too heavy handed.
Have you ever restored a vice? Genuine question btw, not a dig.
Not particularly a vice, but anything seized as that was I would not attack it in that way.
Screwd', as with anything seized, you start with plenty of lube & a light touch, & work upwards from there if necessary.
The sparks from grinding don't say it was iron, that was steel. Job well done I think.
