One for the guitarists

Right boys, I'm shure there are some ageing rockers out there who have some knowledge of old guitars.
I have an old Burns 1962 Vibra Artist which I swapped in 1969 for a acoustic guitar. Now that I have more interest in guitar set ups I would like to know if any body knows the correct neck radius of these old guitars, I would like to to get it back to some sort of playable condition but it does have a twist in the neck which I shall try to get out and it will need a re fret but I an not in any rush, I also intend to re radius the neck but I want it as near to original as possible. Thanks in advance for any info. Pud.

Dont like to rain on your parade, the wife is a singer in a band & modest guitarist. She had a beautiful twelve string guitar which even to my untutored ear sounded good. Unfortunately the neck warped & despite being entrusted to a highly recommended luthier he could do nothing with it & it would not hold tune. It sits in our house to this day as an expensive but useless ornament.

RonA yes I am fully aware that I might not get the neck straight I had a Luther look at it donkeys years ago, the twist has never got any worse since I've had it and it is quite uniform so if can't get it out I will try to re- radius the fret board as it is, the trouble is that the fret board does not have the same radius along its length due to being very roughly sanded and refretted when i was about 20 by myself (a real bodge job) so if anyone knows the Burns radius it would be great. By the way I am not trying to restore it back to original I want it to look as it is but playable which it isn't at the moment. Pud.

Sorry, can’t help there.
Once read an article on how to work out the distance between frets but that’s as far I’ve delved into the workings other than rewiring a few pickups on Guitars, Mandolins & a banjo.
Somebody will be along in a minute with the info you need they’re a knowledgable lot on here.
