We have recently had all of our extraction condemned despite it giving flow rates triple the minimum required. This is due to the point of exit on the building not being at roof height, it has been deemed that the fumes could blow in back through the open shutter of the warehouse.
The obvious solution is to pipe up through to the roof, which would be fine except our roof height is approximately 10m high and we've been quoted 14K for the work which in my eyes would give us a worse solution than we have at the moment.
Long story short - On torch extraction, anyone use it? any pitfalls to be aware of, good makes and not so good makes?
Any advice as always greatly appreciated.
Thanks
