on scrounge for scouts

cheeky one this.
im an asl with my local scout group,( 12th Spen Valley) and we are building a landy offroader.

as a group we dont have a lot of funds as just re-starting group.

i was wondering if anyone had 2 pces of tubing 100mm long 20mm od 13mm id going spare?

i have managed to get a range rover chassis and need to make some riggers for the bulkhead to bolt to.

if you have look on difflock. com in the custom builds sect we have a thread going in there.
the guys on diff have been donated most of bodywork and running gear

Due to geography I can't really help, but I think that a few young fellas pitching in to build a landy is a great idea well done. if scouts were more like that and less knotted up I may have joined.

I have a spare defender transfer box if you need it, and a pair of battered wings, no tube though.

That's a bit of an odd one as it will have a 3.5mm wall thickness. I've just been helping a friend's teenage son with a 1967 series II. He's put a new galvanised chassis in it and I've wired it up today. Everything works and it starts so he might get it tested next week if he gets the roof and doors on

It's probably 3/4" OD with 1/2" ID... 1/8" wall thickness.

On the scrounge for Scouts? We've a couple tied up in the shed which you can have if you'll pay for the pallet shipping charge. They came round doing bob-a-job, cheeky beggars.

100% agree with that statement.

I might have a few bits in the shed you could have had if you were nearer.
