Omtech K40 laser engraver

After a bit of faffing, and trying out other designs, I’ve gone with another design from thingiverse, but there are changes. I’ve already remade the connector plate on the laser head, and printed it in resin. I will also be fettling the ‘tower’, as I need to change the drag chain fitting design, and maybe beef up the tower structure itself.

Everything clears with nothing catching, so time to do some tweaking and reprinting. I’m planning to do some serious engraving projects tomorrow, but everything is feeling smoother now (tightened the belts, and a touch of lubricant on the necessaries).

I can't understand why you don't simply change it around to the proper way.

I can't understand why you don't simply change it around to the proper way.

There does not appear to be enough room for me to turn the design the proper way with any degree of success
