Olive oil mill

I just got back from my local olive oil press with a this years 50 litr barrel of oil..Do I remember a member on here in Spain was planning to build an olive oil press for his village ? I'd love to know how it turned out ....

this is my olives on the truck ready to go to the press...

Yeah, You take all your olives to the press and the woman that runs it give you a day and a time when they will press them ...you turn up and your olives get tipped in the hopper , the leaves get blown out , the olives are washed and then the machine sends them through into one of the milling compartments and for two hours ish it's milled, the oil is extracted into a tank and they weigh the oil and fill your barrel with how much oil you need ... the rest gets put in the bulk tank and mixed with everyone else's and sold by the co-op in the new year and you get a bit of cash paid into your bank ...

will soon be doing this myself.......aparentley u take ur olives to the press / mill and then they return ur oil to u......
also been told if they take 50% it's free......if all goes well should have 25 trees......mmmmmmm Greek salad........hahaha...
