old welder

hi iam new to this forum .as an artist. i want to due some sculptor .in thin metal and bull wire ect.i was giving this welder a long time ago.and it still works anybody tell me if its any good .i tried it last week and it works.i made this piece from 3mm bull wire .using gassless wire .yes the welds ar c~#a* is it worth giving it a service. i will need if possable info on gass and wire ect hope somebody can help thanh you tony am trying to load photos

ha ha my welder is way older than that £5 from the tip works a treat give it a service if it need it

i have this old welder and i know very little about welding or welders can anybody tell me the best way to work IT. i know the red is the on off switch but what ar the other diles for[.min max. no 1 no 2 . and the round dile marked from 1 to 10] also how due i know what amp the welder is .and what is amps i have welded some wire sculptor with a small arc but i want to weld light steel using this mig.[ no smart ass comments please[ looking for help thank you tony

Min Max is Coarse power adjustment

1/2 is finer adjustment

So four power setings

how due i know what amp the welder is

There is likely a label on the back giving all sorts of figures in volts (V) and amps (A) and likely others too. If there's a label like this, post a photo and we can work it out.

thank you there is no labil on the back only[ 220 v 50- 60- mz] on the front tony
