Hi knowlegeable people,
I have my late fathers MINX welder lying up for some time, I havent used it for several years as I treated myself to a new SIP Mig/Tig/Arc about 5 years ago, I'm thinking of donating it to a local rural history museum and want to try and get a bit of backgroung on it to accompany it in a display. AFAIR he bought it in about 1964/5, it was bought from the local ESB (Electricity Supply Board) shop in Fermoy in Co Cork in Ireland, no idea of price etc. It was used extensively for making and repairs to farm machinery and I used it for ,many years as well. I still have the original chipping hammer and the earth clamp which is a screw on affair. The serial number is 17018, Primary volts 200-480 , 1 phase ,on the plate. I have had a google but apart from a few pics there doesnt seem to be much info around. Any info gratefully received,
Thanks, Tony ,
