Old tractors

Is anyone on here into tractors?
A mate has got himself a Renault Super 7E 1978 tractor with a Perkins engine
Im trying to track down some info on it such as correct oil, air filter, oil filter etc.
If anyone has any info it would be handy.

Try contacting Perkins Engines directly, they were Peterborough last time I looked. I've found them very helpful.

You could probably use "universal farm oil" in the engine and gearbox/ hydraulics.

The filters you could get from a local agricultural dealership. If you had the engine number they should be easy to match up.

Or you could try someone like Sparex.

K&N probably makes filters for that engine as well...

Try these guys http://www.edina.eu/. I have dealt with them in the past for perkins engines in massey tractors. They seemed to be quite helpful to me. They also do reconditioned exchange parts with full warranty which i found useful.

They were also the only company who could supply parts for the engine of a claas SP forage harvester that the local claas dealer could not
