I got fed up of telling people not to climb on my jeep and messing with it when I took it to shows, I don't mind if they ask first but so many seem to just think any open top vehicle is an invitation to crawl all over it. You come back to it with the lights left on and a flat battery.

Caught people sitting on my motorbike at shows as well, the one that really made me mad was someone had decided they fancied sitting on my motorbike and they knocked it off it's stand and left it lying on it's side with fuel leaking out

I've had that when displaying my RR kitted out for rescue/recovery, ended up leaving the windows open but locking the doors so they can't get in, yes I know a Jeep doesn't have doors

I had someone come to view a RR for sale, while he was looking round, his young lad was using the passenger seat as a trampoline

ive mentioned it before in a forum - a guys pic of his car showing his kid standing on the leather seat in muddy wellies. He said "I'm not putting my car before my child"

Thing is teaching a child respect for property isn't putting the car before them, it's raising them properly so they respect others property too.

Fast forward and I expect these kids grow into the adults that slam their new car door into your old car while you are there and look at you like you fell off a spaceship if you said anything. After all how will they understand, they aren't treating your property badly, they're treating it how they treat their own.

I know someone that bought 2nd hand settees while their kids were growing up so it didn't matter if the kids jumped all over them and wreaked them, he just bought another every couple of years. That's all well and good and you're bringing your kids up in a "fun" household but it doesn't help me when your wild kids come to my house and think they can jump all over my settee as well. Then when I say his kids are wild it's me that "doesn't understand kids" because I chose not to have any.

I came back to my bike one time and there was a bloke letting his kid all over the bike parked next to mine. At first, I thought he was something to do with the owner and had permission. Not a bit of it, he was just some plonker over-indulging his sticky-fingered wee brat.

One of the very first if not the first gsxr750s in Ireland was bought by a fella who lives near me, he only had it a few days when a child knocked it over in a petrol station. It fell against a bollard and broke the headlight,screen, clocks and side fairing in bits, because it was so new he had to wait months for replacement parts. The mother of the child had the cheek to start giving out to him for it cause her child could've been hurt.

I have never and don't agree with hitting women but she would have severely tested my restraint, to cause damage and then try and blame the bike owner, wtf, I hope he got her name and she paid for all the damage her little brat caused.

I'm not sure what the outcome of it was, I know when it was eventually fixed he sold it straight away. I think after only having it a few days then being left sitting broken up for months he just lost any love for the bike.
