Does anybody know what would this pressure gauge would be used for? Saved from going to the skip nearly 20 years ago, just because an incurable squirrel (that's me) thought it looked interesting, and it has been cluttering up the house ever since.
Payne & Griffiths gauge, 0-200psi. Three connectors threaded to fit the gauge. One is angled, with a plain tube and a tapered thread. Two straight connectors (coarse and fine pitch threads), each having what looks like a removable orifice, with screwdriver slot. Spanner clipped onto the back of the gauge. Items date stamped 1940 and 1941. All in a heavy duty leather case about 9"x5"x3" (the angled connector does not fit snuggly, so might not be the original item).
