Moved to france 20 years ago to live a more laid back life, true dinosaur as I have been welding for 60 years -started in the car repair trade- oxy acetylene at first (and still now) I bought my first esab in the 70's could sound impressive but definitely not. Though the only skill still functioning fully is a sense of humour I'm fabricating and repairing all sorts of stuff and as I'm looking for a new welding set you'll probably hear some daft questions

Another welcome, I am not far away in the Charente-Maritime, here nearly 20 yrs too. Also an aged welder, started at 11.. when I wanted a better soap box than the wooden ones the others had.
