Hi,
I've a Max Arc welder that belonged to my grandfather and was purchased in 1956 (still have the receipt) when he retired in the 1980s he sold the welder.
Long story short I got the welder back recently, its not working but I don't know anything about it and it's system of working re 1-8? What amps would it be? To my knowledge it was always used on a standard 3 pin plug as the plate also says its 220v. Finally is the company Max Arc still in business and do you think it would be possible that this welder be fixed?
Any help or info on it appropriated as I've never seen a welder with a system like this before. I wasn't born when my grandfather used it and he's no longer alive etc.
Thanks
