Old but new to me mower project

this is off my what I have called it my frankenmower posted on today I acquired thead I have done the carb refurb ordered a new spark plug renewed the fuel pipe and the mower started and runs fine but now I'm down to I found one of the blades are missing pic as above it's going to need a new set of blades and bolts and I can't even find the right ends as the only ones I can find are flat mine have indentation in the replacment blades where the bolts go in does this look orignal to you

if u know the make of the mower google for parts suppliers.......as u found out there are hundreds of diff blades.......the blades are high carbon steel so u can't make ur own...well u can but they bend v/easily..........

I'm pretty sure you can still get hayterette blades and the proper bolts from Central Spares.
I used to have an account with them but not anymore.

but not the model as its been repainted the model looks very similer to the 005 model from about 1980 ish

but from looking on line im thinking the blade is not right come to that i dont think the engine is right either

only other option would be to buy a 18 inch blade and drill the holes to fit it to the boss and put a standard blade on it

the mower was a quick pickup to have a play and then sell not realy for a profit as the mower is worth i expect £40 ish

the cost of the mower to me the carb parts spark plug new pipe and now blade will put me very near the selling price its been nice playing with it and good fun and as its an old mower wanted to keep it from the scrap heap and back in to working im fine with that i never make much when selling a mower as they dont fetch much so i dont mind breaking even on one now and again just dont like a loss

Those are not Hayterette blades. Look more like Victa or Rover. PM sent

The blade you have looks very like a rover blade. The rover blades fit on with special bolts with one flat side. You can buy the bolts & blades as a kit but you need to replace them as a full set, otherwise the blade could be out of balance.

an ebay and google search does come up close but these had indents where the bolts go and all the rover ones seam to be flat

Possibly a Masport blade or a Victa both made in Australia.

not in there come back and @jenki has said masport blade and from a quick look holding my fingers crossed the shape and the measured size and even the bolts look the same and they even have the wobbly washer that i have on mine so im hoping we have found it with all all of the help from every one

thanks will add a update when the blades turn up might be a week or so as they are coming by boat from china

nope they look close but not actualy them i think as above i might have found it to be masport blade i have ordered a cheapo set set sail from china so will know in 2 weeks ish time with luck

was going to buy from uk but the cost was twice as much
