I had enough of air beds when camping, turn over in the night & everyone in a 50 yard radius thinks you’ve just farted.I switched to an air mattress.....

The secret to camping type air beds is to only put enough air in to keep your hip off the ground. I bought one a few years back and did the usual full inflation, and it was horrible, then I remembered what I was told about the Airhawk seat in my bike. I lay on the mattress and let air leak out until it was all but half flat.I had enough of air beds when camping, turn over in the night & everyone in a 50 yard radius thinks you’ve just farted.![]()
I dunno, these are full sized, are 8" thick and fit on a standard mattress frame.I had enough of air beds when camping, turn over in the night & everyone in a 50 yard radius thinks you’ve just farted.![]()
I bought one at Xmas, daughter was coming to stay for a couple of days, so for £27 from Argos I bought a 10" deep double inflatable mattress.I dunno, these are full sized, are 8" thick and fit on a standard mattress frame.
I air them up pretty hard, as I have a bad back, and they are much better than a mattress.
Never makes any noise rolling over, plus I live alone.
yup, that's the style I use.I bought one at Xmas, daughter was coming to stay for a couple of days, so for £27 from Argos I bought a 10" deep double inflatable mattress.
It's now leaning against the wall so my incontinent smelly dog doesn't get to sleep/leak on it.
