An errant comma can totally screw the meaning of a sentence.

I haven't done that out of pedant mode btw Norm. It took me several moments to twig exactly what you meant, so thought I'd save others the momentary head scratching.

Jeez, I'd hate to imagine what crap you must be knee deep in if you meant it that way. Are the coppers bullying you?
Putting on my amateur psychologist hat norm, what I'd imagine you are feeling is the frustrated helplesness we all feel in these situations at (a) the thought some bottom-feeding pondlife scum think they can help themselves to your stuff, (b) not knowing who they were or where they are, (c) the fact that the police can gather evidence and may get a lucky break but most of the time won't be able to catch the perpetrators, (d) knowing the insurance company will try to find any excuse not to pay out and (e) the knowledge that had you had some foreknwoledge of their intentions and they turned up one at a time you'd have made damn sure they went away empty-handed (possibly even without any hands at all)!

I'm wondering whether he's just playing with us now, 'cos he's confusing the hell out of me.
Maybe the UK should take a page out of Saudi Arabia's book and chop the hands off of people caught stealing, they have the lowest crime rate in the world

Might be some developments on this type of stuff soon...........
Walls have ears Norm..be careful. I did think at the time though ,its not the sort of think you find in a random break in, 35k worth of tools plus the means and time to shift them etc.

I've had loads of my stuff marked up with this.
I believe take up of this was hindered by the embedded swear word in the name, this meant a lot of web filters blocked mail etc. Must be difficult coming from Clitheroe or Scunthorpe
