My old Mls was as nice to weld with as either of the two lorch machines (ht200 and 220t) that I've used. It was every bit as stable as them too and as my current one which is German.
I wasn't a fan of the Mls panel but from a blue light PoV it would keep up with those German machines no probs.

Where do you guys get your prices?! I sold an EWM Picomig180 pulse package with torch, reg, earth and fitted mains plug (ok, no ally drive kit) for £1,375 + VAT.
Worth a look if you want a quality set. Sold lots and only ever had one fail.

A lot of people think eBay is the only place you can buy welders.

Check out the Picomig 185, still a 180 amp but it's in the bigger casing and takes a full size spool. It's got the new drive system and full size Dinze sockets on the front panel which I see as a plus. I find the small Dinze sockets can wear sooner if they are in use a lot.

Tbh under a £1000 for an inverter MIG isn't what I'd call good money. They're badged up Chinese by the looks. Bear in mind EWM PicoMig is £1900ish, ESAB Caddy 200 is £1000, Kemppi is probably cheapest of big names £940.

I paid £760 for my Esab 200i with reg, warrior mask and gloves.
