Odd tool identification

Anyone know what this is for? Steel cones and shaft with removable ends in various sizes. Too thick to be a valve guide puller and no marks from pipe wrenches.

Looks vaguely like a tap seat cutter. Is there a cutting edge on the removable ends?

It's a variation on the usual clutch alignment tool that normally has different parallel bushes of various diameters, the tapers although not quite so accurate will accommodate many different clutch plate bore sizes.

I have used all-sorts in the past for this job, Usually something that is a good fit in the pilot bearing, then carefully wrap masking tape to build diameter at clutch plate position,m

How can you say that, the MOD is funded by the general public payments sent via the taxman.

So the item is owned by the general public, so a small relocation fee is acceptable.........looks a very nice clutch aligning tool...
