Ive got a fault with the compressor. (not the one that the control melted on the other month, my other unit)
If its running, its fine.
If its pressurized, and turned off at the wall, its fine.
If it reaches pressure, and turns itself off, i get a huge gushing of air from the control box.
Im thinking it cant be the NRV, as it would leak when off at the wall? Its got to be the unloader, what, solenoid, in the control unit, right?
Or is the control unit valve normally closed, and energises from the pressure switch to unload? In which case, i guess it would be the NRV.
I cant really get my head around it!
Ive just ordered a new control unit, next day, as i need the thing to be running, but now im thinking it may be the valve and not the electronics at all?
Is there any other test that i need to do to conclusively know (without taking things apart)
Thank you.
