Hi all ive posted some pics of welds produced with the lorch.and my not so
steady hand. ive had the machine set for ac hard by mistake but now im on factory settings im still struggling on small aluminium pieces. stainless im
having trouble feeding a 1.6 mm rod into the middle of the weld pool if you
touch the edge it will stick ive not done much with the pulse yet it seems
like you have to play with the amps to get the power right i would like to think i can improve some more but i seem to have reached a point where im
not getting any better or is it a case of more practice anyway cheers ocean

You turn MACS on...........

1) Select AC mode
2) Select Pulse mode
3) Press both of the select buttons at the same time and the the AC light and the DC light will be illuminated.

Thats how you know MACS is on.

Excellent Ocean..... just shows what can be achieved with a decent bit of kit, helluva difference between that and what I can acomplish at work with a clapped out old esab trans machine, and yes it is a case of the never ending P's but you WILL get there...well done.
