Having finished replacing the sills and patching the kick panels and floor on one side of my 67 chevy I had to bring her home so she's back out in the open. Depsite having reselaed the roof seam I'm still getting some water in, this is made worse bu condensation as theres no headlining, just a painted steel inner cab roof. I think I need a new windscreen rubber really but as a way of keeping some water out I've invested in a waterproof breathable cover from Cover Systems in Northampton. It cost me £127 but thats not bad when you conside this thing is nearly 18 foot long, it fits pretty well even though its a universal cover, once I remove the ugly aftermarket roll bar it'll fit even better as I'll gain a couple of inches front to back. Its an impressive bit of kit with two door zips, two underbody straps and four other tie down loops. A good bit of rust prevention kit. To take care of the cab I've shoved one of those chemical moisture traps in there after towelling the condensation off.
