O ring size

Does anyone know what size the o ring should be in these Vapormatic 1/2 inch BSP hydraulic quick release fittings?

The chewed up one I took out was very marginally bigger than 17mm rings in my kit but noticeably smaller than 18mm. I guess the original may have swollen slightly due to contact with the fluid? A 17mm was a squeeze to get in there and its not leaking on a quick test but if that size is incorrect I will get the correct one.

Likely to be an imperial then. But the diameter OD is one thing and the section another as that defines the ID.

You really need a decent one to measure up if you can find someone with that connector
