NVR switch buzzing

I have got an Axminster bandsaw that is fitted with an NVR switch. Sometimes after being switched off, it buzzes. Not loudly, but loud enough.

Is it knackered, or not really a problem ? Is it likely to be consuming electricity while doing this ?

Unplug it. Problem solved.

Turn it off and on. It's probably the pole shade isn't connecting properly or it might be a little loose.

I have tried this lots of times, doesn't seem to make any difference. I guess not much to worry about then.

Maybe full of crap. I have a wood lathe that did that, unplugging it solved the problem

Could be the shading ring has come off/loose. If the buzzing doesn't bother you just keep using it 'till it wears out.

The damned things seem to be permanently powered.
I've similar on an Axmister D-bit grinder. I must sort it out one day.
