NVQ question help

Hi guys,
Need a little help on a question in my nvq .

What are the geometrical construction methods used for straight and radius bends, curved or circumference sections, pyramid and cone sections?

Any one any ideas ??

Don't forget triangulation, not sure what a straight bend is though.

That is one that does not go round korners.
Any fule know that.

The fact you are guessing what you think the question is asking suggests something is wrong.

NVQ's can be a challenge but with the correct training should be manageable by anyone prepared to put in the time and studying, has your training been suitable or is it an area you have not felt comfortable with but failed to make the trainer aware.

I suggest you approach the trainer/instructor and simply state you are struggling to understand that subject matter and could they provide further help and guidance, it's much better to answer with confidence than come up with an answer through various means.

In my experience NVQ knowledge questions can be ridiculously vague, often the instructor is just as clueless as to what they are actually after as an answer.

Thanks guys . Ishigham you are so right in what you say . Asked the instructor , and he didn't have a clue, and they way they write someone the questions, is questionable .

Our tactic was to interpret the questions to suit us, if they wanted a specific awnser they should have written a clearer question.

That's always been my approach with vague questions too, whatever their source. If someone wants a specific answer, they should ask a question which can only be taken one way. If they ask a quesion which is open to interpretation, however, then coping with the possible answers is their problem.
