Nut and Bolt Thread Guage

As the title.
What do you use, and what would you recommend?

Moore and wright thread gauges, other brands are available.
I think most of them would be fine, its just a piece of profiled tin.

Unless you are talking about the thread checker boards with lots of bolts on them, which I've never seen much point in personally.
Or go-no go thread gauges, but that's a different kettle of squid.

Just the basics here, Mic, thread gauges and a zeus book. Chopped the foam about in the mic box to accommodate this lot so its always to hand.

100% Moore and Wright......
lost my first set and bought another after a year of frabbing around with cheapies.....
then------u know it, I found the originals.....dohhhhh....
U'd prob need a bank loan for a new set now.....been a long time since I've seen a used set in decent condition....
and no chance over here.....

Same here, but I also have a set of polygonal discs with different tpi/pitches around the edge and diameter gauges within the sheet.

Those were bought in Canada, a couple of decades ago, probably from Lee Valley in Ottawa. Cheap as chips at the time.

The above thread pitch gages (the separate leaves model from 8ob) can be used in tight quarters, as well as for internal threads.
